Guest Blog - Mike Kvalheim Returns
Hey Soggy Prairie Boys fans - this is Mike. You might have caught me playing with the Boys one of these past two weekends at Cows on the Concourse or the Dane County Dairy Breakfast on the Farm. When Kodey asked me (a long time back) to fill in for him while he was away on his tour of Asia, I said “Absolutely!” I wasn’t going to miss an opportunity to pick some tunes with the Boys again! Busy Weekends/The Life of a Musician
As the weather gets warmer, we get busier. It's always this time of the year where we find ourselves getting up early, and staying out late playing Bluegrass music for the masses. This weekend was no different. We kicked off the weekend by playing at one of the most adequate breweries in Verona, Hop Haus Brewing Company. Busking on the Capitol Square
The Soggy Prairie Boys swung by the Capitol Square Saturday morning to enjoy the beautiful weather and play some tunes for the farmers and passersby. It was great to see so many new faces and old friends stop by and kick off the weekend with us. Next time you visit the Dane County Farmers Market, keep your ears perked for some bluegrass and stop by to say hi! Check us out on Facebook and we'll let you know when we're playing next. Hope to see you down the road. -Carl #livemu

We are going to stick to what it was founded on...Bluegrass Music and Beer...but we are adding a few things to make it an even more exciting day. It's always been my favorite day o

Welcome

I started this blog so you can learn a little bit more about us, and what it takes to keep this moderately successful local Bluegrass band, well, moderately successful. I hope to keep this current, and also have some columns by our other band members; Jim, Tom, Krist, and Carl. If you have questions, this is a great place to reach out. I haven't quite figured out how that works yet, but I'm
